my bullride

a year ago i was running my mouth about how badly i wanted to ride a bull. my fantastic girlfriend had enough of my talk and got me the birthday present of all birthday presents, the opportunity to go to a bullriding school (thru http://www.greatamericandays.com/ ).  last weekend i was finally able to redeem it,  so we went to new caney, tx. to attend the sankey bullriding school http://www.sankeyrodeo.com/html/rodeoschool.html .

long story short, there is a lot to bullriding and its not possible to learn it all in the 1 day that i was there (other guys/kids were there for the full 3 day session, which had seperate classes of bullriding and bronco riding).  here’s some pictures and a video of my 2 seconds of fame, followed by a stomping session. enjoy!
