growing up w star wars

This has to be the best collection of images ever, and a great piece of social history documentation. People submit images of themselves – from 1977-1985 – with Star Wars; this being a costume, a toy, their childhood drawings or even curtains.  Here are some of the best. Hot tip is that the backgrounds are as interested as the photographs.

  2. I’d love to participate, but we could afford costumes. My mom and her makeup bag turned me into a zombie every year. And when she ran out of make up, she’d just slap me around until I was bruised and bleeding to help the effect. People couldnt believe how realistic my make up was.
