This has to be the best collection of images ever, and a great piece of social history documentation. People submit images of themselves – from 1977-1985 – with Star Wars; this being a costume, a toy, their childhood drawings or even curtains. Here are some of the best. Hot tip is that the backgrounds are as interested as the photographs.

Now I gotta find some old photos

I’d love to participate, but we could afford costumes. My mom and her makeup bag turned me into a zombie every year. And when she ran out of make up, she’d just slap me around until I was bruised and bleeding to help the effect. People couldnt believe how realistic my make up was.
